MarchingOrder Ticket Scan App: New Look and Features!

We’re thrilled to announce exciting updates to the MarchingOrder Ticket Scan App that will enhance your ticketing experience and provide even more valuable data points.

1. Enhanced Offline Mode for Seamless Ticket Scanning

  • In our new “Offline Mode”, the app will now continue scanning tickets seamlessly, with or without a network connection.
  • Tickets scanned in Offline Mode will reconcile automatically when the connection resumes.

2. Improved Connectivity Recommendations

  • We recommend a cellular connection when using the Ticket Scan app.
  • Now, when your device is connected to WiFi, the app will remind you to switch to a cellular connection for the best experience.

3. Device-Specific Ticketing Insights

  • A Device ID will now be required before scanning. This can be the name of the operator or the location where the device will be used.
  • See real-time scan totals for the event, and break them down per device.
  • This valuable data will be included in the Scanned Tickets report on your MarchingOrder Assistant website.

4. Enhanced Reports with Scan Type

  • Added a “Scan Type” column to the report, making it easy to track “scan in” and “scan out” totals for post-ceremony reporting.

Next Steps: If your device is set to automatically update, you will already have the new version of the TicketScan app. If not, please go to your respective app store (Apple or Google Play) and download the updated app.
